RHES Staff Appreciation Week - Amazon Wish Lists
The RHES PTSA Community is super excited to celebrate a Virtual Staff Appreciation Week (SAW) for the RHES Staff this week!! To show our love and appreciation for everything the staff performs for our keikis, we're asking each of our student families, if interested or able, to choose at least one item (multiple prices points available) to gift one or more staff members from the Wish Lists below. Staff members that have made a positive impact on your student or ohana's life will appreciate these tokens during Staff Appreciation Week (SAW) and/or as a suggested End of the Year gift. 
THERE IS NO REQUIREMENT FOR FAMILIES TO PURCHASE AN ITEM. But, for those families who do, this is the easiest and safest way for you to provide a token of your appreciation. Note: We also have Favorite Things sheets for each staff member that can be made available, by request, for you to purchase a unique personalized token of your appreciation!!
January 2020 PTSO-PTSA UPDATE!! We did it! Parents showed up, they shared input, and voted on two very important topics of discussion last week: Do you support the Board's suggestion of where our parent organization Budget funds will be spent this school year? Should our parent organization transition to a PTSA? Parents unanimously (minus one abstention) voted YES on both questions.
How does this impact YOU? It means more resources and support for running a successful parent association. It means coverage (insurance) to reduce liability and risk during parent association events. It means access to other PTA/PTSAs at the HI state and National level and their best practices when it comes to fundraising, educational programs (i.e. STEM, HI state assessments, etc.), social programs (i.e. anti-bullying, parental navigation of social media, etc.), advocacy, and so much more!!
Please bear with us in the midst of the "Transitional/Under Construction" phase. We're working on our outlined Transition Plan and aim to have all tasks completed within the next 30-60 days.
